Apache Junction Food Bank
The Apache Junction Food Bank is located at 575 N Idaho Rd #
701 in Apache Junction.  They help serve the less fortunate in
our area.  Our Church collects packaged food items for the food
bank.   If you would like to help in this effort, there is a big
wood box in the foyer of the church to place your items.  

The Food Bank runs on 100% volunteer efforts and they are
always in need of help.  If you would like to Volunteer for a few
hours a week contact Apache Junction Reachout Food Bank at 480-983-2995.

Areas of need are:
1) Truck drivers and assistants - 6:30 to 11:00 am
2) Processors - Check fruit, eggs, etc. and repackage flour, sugar, etc.  Hours is from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon.
3) Front Desk People - greet people and process them for qualifications - 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
4) Distributors - Pull food from shelves to be given to qualifying recipients - 1:00 - 4:00 pm.
5) Board Members - Interest in operational functions of the food bank - Meet first Tuesday of the month.


You can have your Basha’s card linked to the Food Bank.  Then a
small portion of any purchase made will be sent to the food bank
from Basha’s.  Next time you are shopping just give the cashier
the number
27834 before she rings you up. (You only have to do
that one time.)
