The Missions Committee exists to shepherd Superstition Foothills Baptist Church’s
ministry in the areas of evangelism as well as all aspects of missions to God’s people
beyond the bounds of the church. By evangelism, we mean the intentional fulfillment of
Jesus’ Great Commission, to make disciples of all people for Christ.
Acts 1:8 You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and even
to the remotest part of the earth...
We believe in the relevance of this Commission to our mission efforts in Gold Canyon, the
East Valley, the State of Arizona, the United States, and throughout the world; we
recognize that God calls us to active ministry in all of these areas.
We firmly believe that our call to ministry through missions involves more than money, it
requires the engagement of our whole selves -- hearts, minds, and hands -- in mission to
God’s people.
