Book Club for ALL
Women
This is a
book club for ALL the women that enjoy reading, talking and eating.
We will meet quarterly. Our first meeting will be January 29th
2010 at Starbucks Coffee located at 2600 W Apache Trail, Apache
Junction.
We will be reading the Mark of the Lion Collection (3 books) by Francine
Rivers. We will be discussing Book One - Voice in the Wind - Torn
by her love for a handsome aristocrat, a young slave girl clings to her
faith in the living God for deliverance from the forces of decadent
Rome.
Women's Friendship
Breakfast
is on Feb
20th 2010 at 9:30 am at the Fellowship Hall. This is a time for
fun and fellowship with other women in our church. Bring a friend
or neighbor. Please sign up on the bulletin board or call the
church.
Christmas
Production
If you
would like to be on the planning team or have talents you would like to
share in producing a live Nativity this Christmas please contact Donna
Smith or Cheryl Shumaker.
Angel Meals
Provides food to those unable to cook due to illness or other reasons. If you know of anyone needing this service please contact the Church office.
The Quilting Group
We
have sent several batches of quilts to places like Mexico, Kenya, and
now to the Hope Women's Center in Apache Junction.
We have been able to give the quilts to our Church family that have been very sick or in the Hospital.
